Modern Slavery Charter
AICLIFFVIEW Group
Â
1. Preamble
AICLIFFVIEW Group affirms its absolute commitment against all forms of modern slavery, forced labor, human trafficking, child labor, economic exploitation, servitude, coercion and degrading work conditions.
As an investment group, venture studio, advisory and structuring company, AICLIFFVIEW Group believes that value creation must never be achieved at the expense of human dignity, fundamental rights, individual freedom or lawful employment.
This Charter applies to our activities, partners, service providers, supported companies, reviewed projects, founders, investors, collaborators, subcontractors and, more broadly, to any professional ecosystem with which AICLIFFVIEW Group chooses to engage.
Â
2. Fundamental Principle
AICLIFFVIEW Group refuses to support, finance, promote, advise or contract with any organization whose activities, products, services, labor chains or supply chains are directly or indirectly connected to:
-
modern slavery;
-
forced labor;
-
child labor;
-
debt bondage;
-
exploitation of vulnerable persons;
-
human trafficking;
-
degrading working conditions;
-
abusive or manifestly insufficient compensation;
-
deprivation of freedom or mobility;
-
opaque subcontracting practices contrary to human rights.
Economic, technological or financial performance can never justify any violation of human dignity.
Â
3. Scope of Application
This Charter applies in particular to:
-
artificial intelligence projects;
-
software and applications;
-
digital platforms;
-
outsourced services;
-
data labeling, data annotation, content moderation and micro-tasking;
-
call centers, customer support and back-office services;
-
hardware, IoT, electronic components and IT equipment;
-
recycling, refurbishment, collection and reuse of parts;
-
international subcontracting chains;
-
companies supported by AICLIFFVIEW Group;
-
SPVs, funds, co-investments, partnerships and advisory mandates.
Â
4. Child Labor and Recycling Supply Chains
AICLIFFVIEW Group pays particular attention to companies that develop software, sell products, operate equipment or commercialize recycled, refurbished or assembled products made from parts collected under conditions contrary to human rights.
We refuse to contract with companies whose labor, collection, sorting, recycling, refurbishment, repair or assembly chains involve or tolerate child labor.
This vigilance applies in particular to:
-
collection of reusable electronic parts;
-
informal recycling of IT equipment;
-
dismantling of components;
-
recovery of metals, batteries, cables, electronic boards or connected devices;
-
resale of equipment presented as sustainable or responsible;
-
any activity using children in a visible or hidden value chain.
AICLIFFVIEW Group considers that sustainable innovation cannot be built on the exploitation of children, poor families, migrants, invisible workers or persons without social protection.
Â
5. Specific Vigilance on Artificial Intelligence Projects
AICLIFFVIEW Group is particularly attentive to projects claiming to use artificial intelligence while in reality relying, in whole or in part, on hidden, underpaid, precarious or exploited human labor.
We refuse projects that present as automated tasks that are actually performed by vulnerable, coerced or insufficiently paid individuals.
This vigilance applies in particular to:
-
data annotation;
-
data labeling;
-
content moderation;
-
manual content generation presented as AI;
-
outsourced repetitive tasks;
-
digital micro-tasking;
-
human support services disguised as automation;
-
platforms using invisible workers to simulate AI technology.
We believe that an AI project must be transparent about the actual level of automation, the level of human intervention, the working conditions of people involved and the respect of fundamental rights.
Â
6. AI, Human Dignity and Lawful Employment
AICLIFFVIEW Group refuses to accept, assist, promote, finance or structure AI projects whose purpose or effect is contrary to human respect, dignity, lawful employment or fundamental rights.
We exclude from our support any project designed to:
-
exploit workers or circumvent labor regulations;
-
unlawfully replace declared employment with hidden labor;
-
abusively monitor employees or workers;
-
manipulate vulnerable persons;
-
dehumanize decisions with social, professional or economic impact;
-
automate discriminatory practices;
-
increase precarity under the appearance of technological efficiency;
-
conceal human labor chains behind an AI promise.
Artificial intelligence must remain a tool for empowerment, responsible productivity, value creation and improvement of human capabilities, never a means to make exploitation invisible.
Â
7. Due Diligence and Project Review
Before supporting, financing, recommending or structuring a project, AICLIFFVIEW Group may conduct a due diligence review adapted to the level of risk.
This review may cover:
-
identity of founders and executives;
-
countries of operation;
-
suppliers and subcontractors;
-
labor practices;
-
supply chains;
-
outsourced services;
-
HR policies;
-
compensation conditions;
-
evidence of social compliance;
-
actual use of AI;
-
risks related to child labor or forced labor;
-
risks related to recycling, hardware, IoT, components or equipment.
We may request documents, certificates, declarations, audits, supplier contracts, internal policies or evidence of compliance where the level of risk justifies it.
Â
8. Refusal to Contract
AICLIFFVIEW Group reserves the right to refuse any commercial, advisory, investment, partnership, incubation, co-investment or venture studio relationship with any company, project or person when reasonable elements suggest a risk of modern slavery, forced labor, child labor, human exploitation or practices contrary to this Charter.
Such refusal may occur:
-
before entering into a relationship;
-
during project review;
-
during due diligence;
-
during contract performance;
-
after receiving an alert;
-
after discovering new facts.
AICLIFFVIEW Group may also suspend or terminate an existing relationship if the explanations provided are insufficient, inconsistent or incompatible with its ethical standards.

-
compliance questionnaires;
-
officer certifications;
-
internal policies;
-
lists of critical suppliers;
-
evidence of controls;
-
independent audits;

An unjustified refusal to cooperate may constitute grounds for non-contracting, suspension or termination.
Â

If a risk or incident is identified, AICLIFFVIEW Group may request the implementation of a remediation plan.
Such plan may include:
-
immediate cessation of the relevant practice;

-
periodic monitoring.
Where the facts are serious, proven or incompatible with human dignity, AICLIFFVIEW Group may terminate the relationship without waiting for remediation.
Â
12. Reporting and Alerts
AICLIFFVIEW Group encourages anyone aware of a risk related to modern slavery, forced labor, child labor, human trafficking or economic exploitation to report the situation.

Any intimidation, pressure, exclusion or sanction against a good-faith whistleblower is contrary to the values of AICLIFFVIEW Group.
Â
